Graduates

  • have a thorough understanding of applications of geometry in science and technology, as well as of the interplay between geometric imagination and mathematical abstraction
  • are able to independently develop scientific or technical knowledge relevant for school teaching and then prepare it for a given target group, especially for secondary-school students
  • are able to prepare new contents for school lessons, to plan and carry out the corresponding teaching units, and to reflect critically on them
  • are able to accompany, supervise and guide interested or particularly gifted students beyond the normal curriculum.
