How to switch to the new curriculum
You can only switch to the new curriculum (version 2025) if you started your studies before October 1st 2025. If you started your studies with / after October 1st 2025 switching is not necessary because you are already in the new curriculum.
If you want to switch to the new curriculum please write us an email "I want to switch to the new curriculum master mathematics version 2025 (UA 066 821)." We will collect the emails of all students who wish to transfer and forward them to the responsible colleagues once a week. So please note that the switch may take a while.
How to get the exams of the old curriculum recognised for the new curriculum
If you switched to the new curriculum you can get your exams of the old curriculum recognised for the new curriculum.
Prof. Donninger (Head of Studies) approved most possible recognitions in general, which are listed in the document "Course Recognition Master Mathematics". Please fill out the form "Application of recognition for exams of the old curriculum to the new curriculum" and send it back do us.
If you want to have exams recognised that are not included on the list, please submit a normal application for exam recognition.
